Maison Dieu Coffee Roasters
Our coffee is roasted from green in our top of the range 10kg toper roaster by our dedicated coffee loving staff. Our goal is not only to produce great tasting coffee but to help educate fellow coffee lovers the process that goes into making coffee. With our carefully selected range of coffee beans and grinds, we believe we can find the perfect cup for you.
At Maison Dieu Coffee Roasters, sustainability is one of our main core values. All our coffee bags are biodegradable and can be returned to the roasters and placed in our compost bins. Wholesale customers are given refillable buckets to help reduce the amount of waste.
We take pride in the fact that our beans are ethically sourced which can be traced right back to the farms and farmers that grew them. Our specialty beans are sourced from all over the globe and delivered right here to be roasted on site, giving you the freshest cup of coffee we can.
Here at Maison Dieu Coffee Roasters we have a takeaway window six days a week so customers can try our wonderful range of coffee and treat themselves to our freshly baked cakes. Our staff are here to help select the perfect bag of beans for use at home and with our grinder on site we can grind the beans for the correct brewing method for those who don’t have one at home. Our online store is there for customers further afield of the Brechin area who would like to taste our beans and with our ever growing blog you can read about our journey as coffee roasters.
Finally we offer our services out to all local cafes and businesses. From supplying our specialty coffee beans to training, we want to spread great tasting specialty coffee with the chance to come to our shop and create the perfect unique blend.

Euan Spark, John Souttar & Kayley Fleming
At Maison Dieu Coffee Roasters there is myself, John and his partner in the business. We are all very local to Brechin and aspire to bring great tasting coffee to the area.
I am Euan Spark and I work in the roasters Monday to Friday. I roast all our beans on site on Monday then work the takeaway window for the rest of the week while trying to run day to day business with our online store and wholesale customers. At the weekends we have two local girls Abbie and Emma come in to serve customers at the window. John and Kayley are in when they are free, with John still playing football full time his family is split with that, the shop and his and Kayleys youngest daughter Myla.
John and I have grown up together, starting off playing football together with Brechin City when we were both 7 and from there played football together until we were 19 before him leaving to go to Hearts and myself Dunfermline. We both moved away from the area when we were 15 and both never fully returned until we in our 20s and the big thing we felt missing in this area was a great place to get coffee so this is where the idea and journey started. With John and Kayley getting engaged a few years ago they had the great idea of starting a coffee roaster up and where better to do so than the place where both our football careers began. There was a lot of work to get us to the point we are at now especially with covid but thankfully we got there and have enjoyed a great first month of business. We are all so excited for the future and very thankful to become part of the ever growing community of Angus.
