DD8 Music

DD8 Music is a registered Scottish charity, dedicated to promoting involvement in musical activities to people of all ages in the Kirriemuir area. They run a rehearsal and recording studio in Kirriemuir. It is a space where people can have the freedom to experiment with music, and be encouraged to develop their talent. The group runs a variety of weekly music, art and media-based classes for the young people of Kirriemuir, with all sessions free of charge.

The charity is involved in an ambitious public art project in Kirriemuir just now, “Signs of Change”. The project will see unique artworks popping up all over the town, combined with art workshops for people of all ages. www.dd8music.com/signs-of-change

DD8 Music also runs the annual Bonfest music festival in Kirriemuir. The biggest weekend of the year in the town, the international music festival celebrates the life and music of rock legend, Bon Scott. For more details head to the Bonfest website. www.bonfest.com
