Kirk Wynd Cottage dates back to 1714 and it sleeps up to four people. If offers the following accommodation on two levels: cosy lounge with log burner, an extensive library of books and a selection of children’s toys, country kitchen/diner with Rangemaster cooker and large farmhouse dining table, two double bedrooms (one with en-suite shower room) and a family bathroom with bath to relax in at the end of a busy day. There is a designated private parking space just a one minute walk away.
Kirriemuir’s position at the base of the Angus Glens is perfect for discovering or walking the Angus Glens, exploring the stunning beaches of the East Coast of Scotland, visiting the nearby cities of Dundee, Aberdeen and Edinburgh or enjoying other outdoor pursuits including cycling, fishing, shooting and stalking. There is also an 18 hole golf course in Kirriemuir with views north to Glen Clova and Glen Doll and many great championship courses nearby including Montrose Golf Links, Carnoustie Golf Links, The Old Course St Andrews and Gleneagles.

We have both lived in Kirriemuir for many years and enjoy living and working in this vibrant and friendly community. Whilst bringing up our families, we have had the opportunity to sample much of what the local community has to offer, ranging from walks in the Glens, taking part in local music festivals, enjoying produce from local artisan businesses and visits to historic attractions. Over the years, we’ve both enjoyed sampling all Kirriemuir and the county of Angus has to offer and we hope to share this with you at your stay at Kirk Wynd Cottage.
