Uan Wool

Uan Wool is a family run artisan business based on our traditional working hill farm between Balintore Castle and Lintrathen in the Angus glens.  We design and hand craft beautiful, quality pillows and warming gifts with our own homegrown wool and other British wool yarns & cloths woven in Scotland.

When we began, our mission was to improve our asthmatics sons sleep with a pillow, now we make a wide range of bespoke wool pillows helping all our customers to sleep well and warming gifts.

We have a studio based on farm where visitors can learn about wool, purchase gifts or participate in our seasonally held workshops ranging from needle felting to making a cushion for those wanting a more hands on experience of working with wool.   For Covid management please call 01575 560281 to book your visit, we can accommodate” walk-ins” but priority will be given to those already booked.
